This is so raw and beautifully written. I connect with all your points since I too am an introvert. I hate wasting time in the company of others unless I can have a meaningful conversations. So clubs and such never did it for me 2 days in a row.

As I got older, I started to rediscover what I like - especially if it exposed me to people. Going to story telling events, toastmasters, book signing events or paint nights give me joy.

But the truth is that unless we are deliberate about spending time with other humans, we will lost the art of making random conversations with others.
